Welcome To Our Old Gregg School Winter Farmers Market

Our Spring Mills Old Gregg School Farmers Market is held from 10:00 AM -1:00 PM on Saturdays in beautiful central Pennsylvania. We are currently indoors, operating as a winter market only, from November 5 - December 17, 2011. We're set up in the gym of the Old Gregg School Community & Recreation Center, located just off scenic PA route 45, at the Spring Mills exit.

We invite you to join our FUN and interesting Winter Farmers Market, with both Amish and "English" vendors, and come meet our appreciative local customers!

Guest space is available for non-profit fundraisers, chef demos, artists, craftsmen, musicians and other performers.

Listed below are just a few of our home grown, home produced and handmade local farmers, crafters and artisans who have previously vended at our Old Gregg School Farmers Market, on various past Saturdays in Spring Mills, from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM.

Be sure to visit our Old Gregg School Farmers Market Facebook page often, to see which of our following vendors are expected to be at our winter market each Saturday, from early November through mid-December 2011 ... and for current news and information about all our local farmers markets throughout the year.

On occasion, our visitors have enjoyed the music of "Papa Sings", Steve Crawford & The Poe Valley Troubadours, Greg Smits, Karl Leitzel, Gene Gibson, The Tussey Mountain Moonshiners, and other local favorites, who have performed at our fun-filled & festive Old Gregg School Saturday Farmers Market, on holiday fair days or other special fundraising events held in conjunction with our farmers market ...

Our Old Gregg School Winter Farmers Market, located in the quaint town of Spring Mills, offers freshness, high quality, reasonable prices, and convenience.

Having an indoor winter farmers market allows Centre County residents to help support our local farmers year-round, as they provide us with wonderful foods all grown, raised, or made close to our homes with such care and dedication

Remember to "Buy Fresh, Buy Local"

This year, plan to spend more of your grocery money on local foods, eat a wholesome Farmers Market Dinner once a week (or more) and make it a goal to go visit at least one farm where your food is raised in 2011 - 2012.

Make your food purchases extra meaningful this year by shopping locally.

Why?

Here are just a few good reasons:

Do double good!
For the health of your family, as well as of your local economy.

One of a kind. Our local artisans and producers will never stop surprising you with their creativity!

Get less for your dollar. When you buy local, you're leaving out the extra carbon ... but who needs that?
